Books & Basketball Academy’s mission is to create a basketball experience that focuses on developing life skills which enable student-athletes to become productive citizens beyond their basketball years. In addition to forming elite club basketball teams that compete on the highest levels, Books & Basketball Academy is devoted to ensuring that our participants become successful students who ultimately become lifelong learners as well as premiere basketball players.

Books and Basketball Academy (BBA) is a Grassroots Girls Basketball program that provides qualitative training programs for young women from the Delaware Valley area through athletic participation and the pursuit of excellence via personal development and academic endeavors. 

As the 2024 travel basketball season approaches, we are proud to announce a new partnership between Books & Basketball Academy (BBA) and Road to Success (RTS). This partnership will combine strengths of both programs to create an even stronger platform to help young women grow and prosper as they strive to reach their basketball goals.

Key elements to any young person's success are the fostering of self-esteem, confidence, physical and mental health. We want girls to win on and off the court and be their best selves. This can only be achieved when they are in an environment where they feel seen and valued. Our program has set female empowerment as our highest goal.

Leading the charge under this new partnership will be Director Sherika Salmon. Salmon is an accomplished high school program coach and former player. She brings years of experience advocating for young women and is thrilled to take on this challenge at an exciting time in girls youth basketball.

Our girls will have the opportunity to compete at the highest levels against some of the best talent in the nation.
